I have a question and could use some counsel on a matter. If you know of a ministry that alot of other Godly preachers ect.. are involved in participating with to preach the gospel and you find their is corruption with the leadership with this ministry that the others are not aware of should you go to those who are unaware and let them know? I was thinking of writing a letter, making copies of it and sending it out to them individually. Please tell me what you think. It's something I am praying about and may go through with on my weekend off this week.
I really do want to go about it the right way. I feel a responsability to say something.

If you are certain there is a true charge against a brother, then you should go to that person himself, probably with another brother. If you aren't certain, it becomes a gossip. If approaching that leader is impossible, or if he doesn't listen when you do approach him, you should definitely bring it to someone else who you consider an elder who can take the issue up. And in all of this, pray.
That's my generic advice, seeing I don't know the whole situation. But it's is good rule to follow.

Thanks Eli, yes his statement to me is in writing from him and their are atleast 60 witnesses. The elders heard him and now I am waiting for an apology. There may be more things he is saying aganist me. It may be more than one person but I am going to take it to the elders than the church, eventually those that speak at thier conferences unless it is dealt with. I am not going to use my words but copy and paste his, they know who he is. |

I emailed him and I'm going to try and handle this matter in private first. Ok. well that produced nothing unfortunately so now I have to go to step two. I'm going to definately need some more prayer. This is quite an undertaking but it has to be done for the sake of others. This is not about me anymore. |
