Christianity In Iran

This story sounds very similar to the church in China that I read about in Brother Yun's book "The Heavenly Man" and in other places around the world.

The way God is moving in Iran is super encouraging. When Greg, Gareth and I were in London we attended Westminster Chapel and they had a guest speaker from Iran named Lazarus Yaghnazar; he is the foremost evangelical leader in Iran, and he shared about the amazing way God was moving in that country. He said that there were more Muslims being saved now, and in the last thirty years, than in the last thirteen centuries. So much so, that Ahmadinejab passed a law which condemns to death any Muslim that converts to Christianity. This is because he is scared at what's happening. Yaghnazar said 1000 people are coming to Christ monthly in Iran, and the persecution is only causing the Church to multiply. He said, "I would rather die being beaten to death baptizing Muslims to Christ, than of a heart attack for eating too much." The brother was on fire!

God IS working in mighty ways right now across the globe. Let's not forget that, while we see such a decline in the west.
