My daughter and I went to an all night worship meeting last night in Bradenton, Florida. It was awesome. Lily band was there. If you click on the right where it says LUV Radio you can here their music. They call it prophetic worship. It's live on their websight every Friday night. It was at a small church with a small group of us but God was moving. It was not at all Todd Bently-ish. People were filled with the joy of the Lord and laughed some but that's all.
I really think that when christians think of laughter they confuse it with people who laugh in a jokingly fashion or out of some kind of pride. This is not the laughter that I have experienced. This is something that bubbles up inside of you out of the pure joy of the Lord. Anyway I felt joy bubbling up inside of me and I suppressed it because I was told that it's not of God and my husband told me I should not suppress it that God was filling me with His spirit. Anyway I asked God for forgiveness for suppressing it. I suppressed it twice last night. I felt confused and not sure what to do. My husband was filled with joy before he started speaking in tongues when he was filled with the spirit. What helped change my mind about it was that video of the christians in China that I posted of an undergound church laughing out of the joy of the Lord. Brother Yun, said it was the joy of the Lord that got him through his prison experience and it is the joy of the Lord that is our strength.
Anyway it was very free and lots of us were dancing in the spirit and praising the Lord. Most of the time though we were laying prostrate face down on the ground. I was on my face for I don't know how long because the power of God was so strong and I couldn't get up. It was like a heavy blanket on me.
I have pictures I will post soon. I don't have a digital camera so I have to get them developed. Christians in America need to have these all night prayer and worship meetings. It's vital that like minded christians meet together. I know alot of christians right now might not think so but as things get worse in this country I believe we will be meeting together like this. David Wilkerson said we need to be filled with the spirit and we need each other.
I was thinking tonight how wonderful it is to have christians of like mind meaning that their desire is to please God. That is the only common bond true christians have is the desire to please God even though we don't agree on everything and that is really what is most important.
The focus was on getting our hearts right before God and repenting of any known sin. After that the worship was wonderful and VERY PURE.

That sounds like a blessed time in the Lord Rebecca. We've known those time in years past; before all the foolishness began. We know that genuine JOY you are speaking of.
