Songs that bless

Dear friends,

I am interested to know of all the songs you sing at church ( or used to sing) or listen to on CDs or on the radio....what are some of your favourite songs ?



There are many many songs that I love to sing or listen to. Below are just a few that spring to mind. I'm sure I'll think of some more later Also for some, I've indicated 'why' I like these songs.

- 'My Jesus, I love thee, I know thou art mine' (not sure of the title)
- 'Down at your feet oh Lord is the most high place' (again not sure what the title is)
- 'Abba father' (This is such a simple message, but to me when I sing it, it just seems to represent so well my love for my Father God and his love for me. It goes Abba fa-ther...Abba fa-ther...deep within my soul I cry...There's a bit more to it, but that's the main gist of it)
- 'The greatest thing in all my life is loving you'
- 'I can only imagine' (by Mercy Me)

Again, I'm sure I'll think of a bunch more, but these are just a few that spring to mind !

Ah, I love that song. So simple and beautiful. Many of the songs that I greatly appreciate came out of the 70's where the emphasis was upon singing the Scriptures joyfully.

Perhaps my favorite hymn is 'And Can It Be That I Should Gain" by Charles Wesley.
