I would recommend everyone to watch Iran very closely this month of March. Apparently, much of the Shiite Muslim world, including Ahmadinejad, the president of Iran (which would explain his boldfacedness), believes that the Muslim "messiah", Imam Mahdi, will be arriving sometime during this month, at the Spring Equinox, according to a prophecy of theirs. This "messiah" is suppose to come with Jesus and annihilate Israel and establish the Kingdom of Islam. This may come to nothing, but even so, it would be important to watch. "Let not your heart be troubled..." (John 14:1) "Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them. But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by." (Luke 21:8-9) www.wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=53577

Something interesting happened to us on that very day - two Muslims came to our home for dinner! Eric Trelease met them at his usual fishing hole downtown Syracuse, and one of them was interested in talking about Christianity. A couple of weeks (?) later, that Wednesday, 3/21, I happened to be picking him up from a job site to bring him back to our home for dinner. He said he had to call a Pakistani who wanted to talk about Christianity. Anyway, it turned out that these men were engineers here in the States for several weeks, and were staying 2 miles from our home! So Eric & Sherm went to pick them up and bring them back to our house so Eric could talk to them. Eric did a fine job of presenting the Gospel. I think that they had another agenda, however. By the end of the evening, one of them was really encouraging Eric to read the Kuran. They told us that it's almost identical to our Bible - leaving out Jesus Christ as The (ONLY) Way, the Truth and the Life, etc. of course. Very interesting....I think that they might have thought they'd convert Eric to Islam. (Ha! They don't know Eric!)

That's wild... I had heard that he was going to talk to them. I'm curious to know what they are up to.
Honestly, I find Islam one of the easiest religions to refute. Countless times on campus we see Muslims totally beaten with nothing left to say but to get angry or walk away; young and old. The scary thing is this demonic religion is the fastest growing in the world. If only people knew the truth!
"Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son." (1 John 2:22)

So glad to know what's up. For so long we hid our head in the sand of ignorance only wanting to live in peace in our retirement. Thank you for blowing the trumpet in Zion.
