Just recently another prominent Christian leader and megachurch pastor named Ted Haggard was exposed that he was living a fallen lifestyle of sin and has been removed from his church. Once again, we are reminded that all things will be brought to the light. Christians, be sure that your lives are clean and harbors nothing deceptive in it, for God shall surely bring every deed into the light.
"And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full. This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." (1 John 1:4-7)

As an atheist, I've been asked to weigh in on this news, and I have followed it and have been familiar with Ted Haggard's ministry since before the scandal. Schadenfreude is not an appealing emotion so, on Haggard, I’ll say only that if it wasn’t for people of his religious persuasion, people of his sexual persuasion would be free to do what they like without shame and without fear of exposure. I share neither his religious nor his sexual persuasion (that’s an understatement), yet I’m not particularly surprised that this happened. Morality, truth be told, isn't exclusively a Christian phenonenon.
I find it interesting, however, that most people were concerned about the "massage" than they were regarding the alleged drug use.

Mitchie in an earlier post I made a pun about monkeys. Please forgive me, being new I did not know you were an atheist. It is important to tell the truth, we have nothing to do with monkeys whatsoever, but I shouldn't have joked about it. I do want to share Mitchie that even you have been given a measure of faith to believe that God's word is truth. Consider Romans 12:3 every man includes Mitchie.
Please consider these verses when it comes to a fallen leader, and that's sad. Just learned about it on this post.
It's from, Romans 3:22-23 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
A man has fallen and I pray he will be restored. God is able.
