Just wanted to ask for prayer for our family. Lately, I have been finding that I've been feeling upset at my kids more frequently, because of their fighting. I desire to have a home that glorifies Christ, and yet when when my kids fight a lot and then are at times hesitant to accept responsibility for their part in the squabbles, I have been getting frustrated with them. However, this does not bring about the peace and resolution I desire to see. At times, the way I am handling things is making them worse, rather than better.
I know ultimately only God can bring about this about. I've been feeling like He's been directing me to involving the kids in memorizing scripture. The verse below is the one I feel we (myself included) are needing to focus on as a family at this time.
I want to love my family in the way God wants me to ! Again, I covet your prayers.
In Jesus, John
Ephesians 4 :32
And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

That's a beautiful Scripture to memorize, brother. I pray that the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ would fill your home. One thing that helps me is that any frustration or bitterness or irritation whatsoever must be confessed as sin without any excuses. We are accustomed to justifying ourselves getting flustered when others sin, and the world says that it is normal, but in the light of the amazing grace of God toward us all we have no excuse. It is only when we see and confess our frustrations as sin without excuse that we move forward in sanctification.
I know it's tough brother, but always remember it was a million times tougher for Christ and He laid His life down for us, full of love and patience.
Yours in Christ, -Eli
