I've been having really bad nightmares every night. I have been praying about it and reading the Bible before going to bed, but I'm still having these tormenting dreams. I had a dream on Saturday night that a group of satan worshippers were threatening to kill me and my friend if we didn't "make a covenant with satan." And last night, it was worse than that (I can't even go into the details). Even if one other person could pray with me, I'm sure it would help! Thanks.

Hi Missy,
Just wanted to let you know that I will pray for you about these dreams. I believe God wants to bring relief from them. I'll admit my own faith is being tried right now as well and it seems like I'm just clinging to Christ- who better to cling to though, eh :-)
God bless you sister. Look forward to hearing a good report about what God is doing !
In Jesus, John
p.s Romans 8:35-39 :
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36 Even as it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,
39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I have dreams every night (what I would give for a night of dreamless sleep!) but I haven't had one single tormenting or scary dream since posting this prayer request a few weeks ago. Thank you, Lord.

Isn't there any reason to assume that perhaps these dreams just went away on their own? These things happen all the time. Why do you people always jump on the bandwagon so quickly and throw up your hands and shout 'miracle'? It's disturbing, and juvenile. For the record, though, I'm glad you're sleeping better. A good night's sleep is very important for your mental and physical health. Good for you!

In this case, Mitchie, I am fairly certain the nightmares were a spiritual attack. It is natural to have nightmares every once in a while, but this was night after night of extremely disturbing satanic dreams. It isn't a coincidence that as soon as I started asking for prayer, these disturbances ceased. But I am not offended that you say it is juvenile, because to have child-like faith is what I strive for
