I was talking to one of the pastor's wives today at church and we both have always had an interest in evangelism. It really seems like the Lord has put her in my life. I can never seem to find other women who have any interest at all in evangelism. She bought an Evidence Bible from Way of the Master. She just so happened to mention her Buddist neighbor and I also have a neighbor who is Buddist. So we may do some door to door witnessing together soon. Please pray that if this is of the Lord that He would open the door for this ministry. If not I guess I will just keep street preaching by myself.

Hi Rebecca,
That's a blessing to find someone who shares the same god inspired passions that you have. I've gained a lot by the Way of the Master videos series I bought last year. I will pray for an open door for this ministry and for the Lord's leading. I remember how, after my wife began watching the series with some of her friends, she began sharing the gospel quite a bit. It was neat to listen to her sometimes share Christ with 'telemarketers' when they would call, rather than becoming irritated with them, as is often our natural tendency to do.
Also, would like to ask for prayers for a few areas in which I believe God is leading me. I asked my pastor about setting up a 'dads and kids weekly soccer club' and he is behind this endeavour. This would be a time when dads could spend some time with their kids, playing soccer with them. Also, I'd like to see this grow into a ministry where our church reaches out to unsaved kids who may come from troubled homes etc.
As well, for this coming weekend, we'll be camping with our tent trailer and will be camping with a family we've been getting to know at our new church. God willing, I'd like it if we could use this time camping as an opportunity to share the gospel with some other campers. Maybe we'll post a message at our campsite or on the bulletin board, encouraging people to come to our campsite for a time of talking about spiritual things. Hoping to have a chance to share Christ boldy, should God provide opportunities to do so.
In Jesus, John
