Please pray for this lost man

Last night at service a young man came in and was standing alone at his seat; I wasn't sure who he was or whether he had been at the church before or whether he goes at all, etc... since my wife and I just began attending recently.

I couldn't help but take glimpses of him as the worship time was on and I began asking God if He wanted me to speak with with this young man, who's name is Daniel, or not...

I finally decided to walk over to Daniel and say hi and introduce myself.

He was a pleasant individual and I asked if I could pray for him and he said yes so I was able to say a short prayer for Daniel.

I asked if he was saved and it would seem that Daniel is not a Born Again Believer in Christ; he responded that he "thinks so" or something to that effect and that he's prayed for Jesus to save him "in his own way".

I have a real sense that Daniel doesn't know the Lord but I also have a sense that the Hand of God is on Daniel.

I invited him to come sit with my wife and I and he did so.

At the end of the service I was able to chat with him for a short while and was able to share the Gospel in way that was quick... I'd like to see him again so I can take him through even more and take some more time with him to share the Gospel and what it means to be a Child of God.

I have his email address and also invited him back on Sunday and told him that if he didn't want to come then that was ok but that he is invited and that he can sit with my wife and I.

I also will not email him until Saturday until prayer has gone up to the Lord for him; I want to be sure that Daniel's heart has been softened by the Holy Spirit before inviting him again and want to be sure that when I speak to him through email that God gives me the words and that the Holy Spirit quickens Daniel to find interest in the things of God in a genuine and serious way.

Please keep this young man in prayer, that:

1- God would open his eyes to the Gospel
2- God would convict Daniel of his sin
3- Daniel would genuinely get saved
4- Daniel would then immediately be Filled with the Holy Spirit

Please pray these 4 things with me until Sunday evening at the least.

This is a soul that Jesus loves and wants to save and I have a burden for him and want to see him Born Again; please do pray with me once a day until at least Sunday evening.

My husband had the same thing happend to him at the church we last attended. Praying.

Daniel has been to service with his wiofe a few times since the initial time of coming and has asked to be baptized.

I'm not sure he understands the implications of what he's asking, but this is a good sign!

Please continue to pray for Daniel and his wife, Leslie, that they may come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ if they haven't already (I will be sharing the Gospel with Daniel in a one2one setting soon and in a manner which leaves no stone unturned, the Lord willing)

Hi Dan,

I'll prayer for Daniel as well. Should be easy enough to remember his name since that's my youngest son's name. I pray you'll have a chance to talk to him again. There's a guy at our church who recently got saved as a result of attending the funeral of someone from our church who passed away. It's neat to hear his story ! Please keep us updated on how Daniel and his wife are doing.
