Tim & I will pray for your husband Rebecca and I'll put that request in our Upper Room at my site. I'm going to do some research on some things that would help him also. Right off the top here are some starters. Very low salt Vitamin C with bioflavinoids and Rutin Vitamin E with Selenium Hawthorne Berry very good Make sure there's garlic in your diet, even eating raw with water Drinking fresh squeezed lemon juice and an 8 oz. glass of water first thing in the morning gets rid of toxicity. Completely eliminate preservatives from diet. Try to eat nothing but fresh food and no canned, packaged, frozen processed. Eat small meals, no large ones, tax the heart. No fried foods, and no fast foods at all No sodas at all Stay away from sugar, coffee, caffeine; also avoid aspertame, nutri-sweet, and all artificial sugar Eat no meat at all; especially hot dogs and all processed meats; NO pork, only chicken, fish Will have more later.

:)So glad to hear that Rebekah. The website link has some excellent diagrams. Angiography would not be my choice of test. Tim had that one time and it wasn't the best and can be risky. If you can diet change is far better than taking the docs medicine, which has side affects. Docs will always tell you, medicine is what is needed right off the bat.
Walking a little each day at a slower pace at first would be a good start for exercise and changing the diet would make a big difference.
There is an excellent formula that Tim has taken that really helps, but not mixed with meds. It's called CIRCU FLOW Kroeger Herb. This is a natural formula and it has been very affective. Hawthorne Berry is in it which is excellent.

Yesterday he had pain in his arm and today in church he had pain in his arm, chest and his legs. He wanted to go riding on his bike but I told him he needs to see the doctor first because he could put too much stress on his heart. Were getting ready to go walking and I have him on a good diet. Have you ever heard of splinter hemorages under the fingernails as a sign of heart problems? I heard this on the news a few says ago and then about a day later my husband saw this on his fingernails. Here is a site with some information about it: "..Splinter hemorrhages are associated with endocarditis (infection of the heart valves) and may represent vessel damage from inflammation of the blood vessels (vasculitis) or microscopic clots that damage the small capillaries (microemboli)...." www.healthcentral.com/ency/408/003283.html Please keep praying for him that there is no permanent damage to his arteries so that he can get back in shape because they say with a healthy diet it can be turned around.

We walked five miles today and I fixed him some canalope. He was having pain though in his neck and legs as we were walking. It's possible he may have a blood clot. Please keep praying. If we can get past the worse were off to a great start.

Was on my way to bed and had shut down, but felt to write to you. Have never heard of the hemorrhaging under the finger nails. It's good you've got him on a strict diet. 5 miles is too much with his condition to start with. He should only gradually increase it 1/2 mile every few days. Your suppose to start out slow. Walk only 1/2 to a mile for a week and then increase another 1/2 mile. The bike is good, but I'm glad your going to see the doc first before doing that. Swimming some, biking and walking are the best. But on all of these you have to start out slow so the body can adjust and build up strength. They will probably put him on blood thinners. Will pray for him. Another thing I was told last week and I didn't know if I told you was, when he has pain in his chest to cough and take deep breaths. This could save his life. This is a way to get the beat normal from what I was told. This is why I came online again to tell you. Keep us posted. And keep up the good work. Oh, NO dairy by the way, hadn't mentioned this. No cheeze, ice cream, milk, eggs.

I called the doctors office this morning to set up an appointment today and as soon as I mentioned chest pain she said he has to go to the emergency room and they refused to even see him till he did that first. He may get in anyway. He's calling them back. He probably won't go to the hospital.
Please keep him in prayer. I tried to talk him into not going to work till he saw a doctor but he decided to go. He was having trouble this morning with breathing ect..I just give it to the Lord.

Good news, it may not be his heart after all. I have him on a strict diet. If he cheats he's in big trouble! ;D

Tony Thanks, the doctor thinks he may have rhumatoid arthritus. Please keep him in prayer. He's taking ibuprofen and has some serious pain in the afternoon. I found a great way to eat oatmel. My husband and I put rolled oats in our raison bran. It's really good that way. You should try it. Also the cereal lasts longer if you add half oatmeal to it. If anything happens with the economy too it's good to have on hand. Make sure you use skim milk. Some facts on oatmeal: According to Quaker, all it takes is 3/4 cup of oatmeal each day to help lower cholesterol. The soluble fiber in oats helps remove LDL or "bad" cholesterol, while maintaining the good cholesterol that your body needs. In January 1997, the Food and Drug Administration announced that oatmeal could carry a label claiming it may reduce the risk of heart disease when combined with a low-fat diet. The soluble fiber in oatmeal absorbs a considerable amount of water which significantly slows down your digestive process. This result is that you'll feel full longer, i.e. oatmeal can help you control your weight. You probably already have oats in your kitchen. It's estimated that eighty percent of U.S. households currently have oats in their cupboards. New research suggests that eating oatmeal may reduce the risk for type 2 diabetes. In fact, the American Diabetes Association already recommends that people with diabetes eat grains like oats. The soluble fiber in these foods help to control blood glucose levels. With the exception of certain flavored varieties, the oats found in your grocery store are 100% natural. If you look at the ingredients on a canister of rolled oats, you will usually see only one ingredient... rolled oats. According to recent studies, a diet that includes oatmeal may help reduce high blood pressure. The reduction is linked to the increase in soluble fiber provided by oatmeal. Oats contain more soluble fiber than whole wheat, rice or corn. Oatmeal contains a wide array of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants and is a good source of protein, complex carbohydrates and iron. The fiber and other nutrients found in oatmeal may actually reduce the risk for certain cancers. Oatmeal is quick and convenient. Every type of oatmeal can be prepared in a microwave oven. Even when cooked on the stovetop, both old-fashioned and quick oats can usually be made in less than 10 minutes. And what about instant oatmeal… a hot breakfast in under a minute... incredible! Oatmeal can be absolutely delicious! Whether instant, cooked on the stove or baked in the oven, the combination of flavors you can fit into a serving of oatmeal is limited only by the imagination. IBUPROFEN does permanent liver damage, a proven fact. There are other things for pain that he can take that would not be as damaging. That stuff is bad news. Also stay completely away from potatoes, (they are your worst enemy) peppers of any kind which cause inflammation. SODAS are another enemy that will cause more pain. No coffee. NO TOMATOES, egg plant. Drinking cherry juice called "JUST CHERRY" from Knudsen is excellent. That web site has an excellent remedy for pain. But the biggest reason for pain is inflammation. If you can get that down, then the pain would subside.
