Saints, if you could please pray for me when you think of it, I am battling a lot of spiritual warfare these days; I'm convinced that the devil is upset with the direction the Lord is leading my life and is opposing me. Please, if you would pray, I am so grateful. The Lord bless you.
Your brother in Christ, -Eli

Praying for you brother, and put the request up on our Church e-mail prayer chain as well.
I found this scripture very encouraging today.
2 Peter 1:1-4 1 Simon Peter, a bondservant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ: 2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, 3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Alan, thank you so much for putting this up for prayer, I greatly appreciate it. Yes, that is a wonderful Scripture. Another one from dear Peter:
"Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ." (1 Peter 1:13)
God bless you brother, -Eli

Peggy, thank you so much for your prayers. Yes, that very Scripture has been on my heart for some time now by the Lord! That's wonderful. Thank you for your continued prayers of love. I'm truly grateful.

Hey bro, I've been praying for you after I read that you needed help a few weeks ago. I hope things have changed for the better and that you are well.
I have a small question: what does "spiritual warfare" mean? Like are bad spirits causing you trouble, for example, giving your a flat tire when you just had a new tire.
Peace, Eivin

Brother, it is what Paul spoke of in Ephesians 6:12-13,
"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand."
Every believer must inevitably enter into combat with the enemy of our souls. It plays out in all sorts of ways, but particularly in our minds when the devil speaks lies. Our armor that God has provided for us to defend ourselves is also spiritual, such as faith and hope. Our only weapon is the Word of God.
God bless you dear brother Eiven. May the Lord be with you everywhere you go, Love in Christ, -Eli

It hadn't dawned on me that you needed prayer. Will pray for you. The battle is getting more pronounced as time goes on. Especially when you out in the front line. Think of David with his sling shot taking on that giant. One pebble hit that guy and brought him down. We have the same power. Two can put ten thousand to flight. Will agree with Tim, my husband and do that.
