Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
I wanted to share something with you about an understanding God has enabled me to have. For a while, I'd been wrestling with some things I've said and done in the past. I'd found it hard to believe that as Christian, I could have some of the attitudes and actions that I've had. It seems like this is probably not all a bad thing, as sometimes God needs to help us get a deeper understanding of just how much he hates sin. However, even our regrets over our sin, need to come to an end. A book by Andrew Murray called, 'The Blood of the Cross', has been used by God to bring me to this understanding. This book has made me realize that Christ has paid the price by his shed blood, for each of the sins I've regretted and mulled over. Now I can either recognize and thank Him for the price he paid in bearing these sins in His body, or I can try to bear them myself, through continuing to dwell in the land of regret. I choose to do the former. Praise God, for His goodness to us!
In Jesus, John
1 John 1:7
"but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin."
