Birth control is not biblical. As making a woman an object for use to satisfy a momentary fulfilment of the ego, so using the body with no intention for the procreative possibilities of God's gift of life outside of the bonds of marriage, is not biblical. In the same way that a man abandons a child and a mother to salvage himself, rather than care for that life which his own choices precipitated, birth control abandons God's plans for the gift of life to be between one man and one woman in marriage.

Hi Knight Welcome to the forum! It's certainly a hot topic which is why, for me, it's not debatable since it's not a fundamental doctrine. Everyone has a personal conviction on non essentials, and because this is a non essential, I can only state my view and move on to another thread. I disagree with you but completely respect your view as your own personal conviction.

So you think that birth control is permissable?

Physically speaking, there are dangers involved by taking birth control pills. http://blogs.mercola.com/sites/vitalvotes/archive/2007/04/23/Hidden-Dangers-of-New-Birth-Control-Pill.aspx When Tim Conway said if we commit suicide we will as Christians go right into the throne room of God, that's when I turned him off. The best way to know if your doing the right thing is to be completely led by the Spirit of God and the Word of God as he reveals it to you personally. If you have a conviction that it is wrong, then it would be wrong for you. We all have to work out our salvation with fear and trembling. No go by what a preacher dictates to us. Seek the Lord for yourself and see what he says to you.
