Hi Lina! Oh, it is refreshing to hear you say these things. Praise God for His grace and His workmanship. It's great to have you and Josef on the board. May God truly bless you both as you serve Him in His strength in Mexico.
Yours in Christ, -Eli

My name is Bill from Houston Tx. and I am a member of yes Lakewood Church here in Houston since 1995, I sat under Pastor John Osteen for many years until God called him home. I am sometimes reluctant to tell folks were I attend Church, because I have receive yes even from Christians bad feedback from other forums, hopefully this one will be different and look at all of us as the body of Christ and not the building were we choose to worship, because I don't care what Church you go to it won't get you into Heaven, only Jesus Christ can do that, God Bless and I pray I will be accepted here with open arms, and the Love of Christ. Mr. Bill

Hey Eli its jamie from back home i met you a couple a weeks ago. i loved your dvd and i learned alot you really made me think. i herd from your dad that your about to venture into a university to preech and i know what great hostility and i want to give you some words of encouragment with a couple of stories. You have to know why you believe what you believe and have defined exactly what you want to stand for, with conviction not convience. story number one, Harpers magazine, a famous mag. called this man , filthy, a dictator, a liar, a thief, a bragart, a bafoon, a userper, a monster, ignorent and a scoundral. also this same man by the illonis state registrar said QUOTE" no more crafty or dishonest pollitician has ever disgraced american office" this filthy dictator thief liar you probably know him as the 16th president of the united states, Abraham Lincoln. whats really amazing is that lincoln was aware of all the attacks on him . I dont know what you would do if you woke up and on local newspaper was a front page full spread on YOU. and it said you Eli are nothing but a scoundral a liar a crook, thats what lincoln put up with all the time by reputial news papers. And you know what lincoln said , he said" I WILL ALLOW NOTHING TO DIVERT ME FROM MY PURPOSE" isnt that incrediable. You have to know who you are like a rock so when critisim comes it doesnt knock you over, and you arnt where you are now a year from now. i know you have this all under control any way. Fred Smith one of the great commited christian leaders in american on the board of directors of the billy graham evangalistic association, wrote about all the opposition and critisim graham and his team would get spiritually when then came into a city to present Christ. And one day he went into billy grahams office and said this" IF THE RACE HORSE STRAINING FOR THE FINISH LINE PAYS TOO MUCH ATTENTION TO THE FLY, HE MAKES THE FLY TO IMPORTANT" and then he walked out. i pray you can do you best and when opposition comes, remember what lincoln said"I WILL ALLOW NOTHING TO DIVERT ME FROM MY PURPOSE"

Dear Jamie, thank you for this encouragement! It is incredibly timely. I'm so glad you had the chance to spend the summer with my dad. Maybe I'll see you again when I get back to Fredericton?
Keep seeking hard after the Lord, Yours in Christ, -Eli

Hey Everyone, My name's Paul Muirhead (yeah, I think you might have to be Scottish to pronounce the last name right), and I'm 20 years old. I'm originally from Pagosa Springs, CO but currently live in Gunnison, CO. I run a bookstore/coffee shop called the Brushfire which is part of Community Christian Ministries. I love playing outside in God's Creation and want to see other people enjoy a relationship with their Creator and Savior.

Welcome Paul!! I have been wondering how you are doing. My family and I enjoyed when you stayed with us when you were on your way to the conference in Idaho. Alan and I were also wondering how everything went for you in Manti this past summer? The updates from Jami and Chip were amazing. We hope all is well at the Brushfire?? We actually have a young man staying here for a short time who is from Colorado, and another man from New York. They are helping out with the ministry up at USU. Blessings, Deanna

Hi Deanna! I have been doing well. You and your family were a great encouragement to me when I was there. If you get a chance before I do, tell Alan I'm sorry about his Lakers Manti was absolutely incredible this year. I can't possibly tell you all the stories. There were so many great conversations both at the temple in Salt Lake and on the pageant streets. I wrote a fairly long email to Eli about it a while back, maybe he could forward it to you. If not, I'll send it to you if I can get your email. The Brushfire has been good. It is very challenging at times, but very rewarding at the same time. God has taught me so much here. I'm often reminded of 2 Corinthians 12:9. I've heard only a little about the outreach up at USU. It sounds great though. Praise God for bringing in workers for the harvest! Keep up the good work!
